Yes forex gives a chance but it is not by chance. You should do efforts to know this market , have practice in trading and do regular hard work with forex market. Then it will be a good business for you . You can expect huge profits too if you are good in money and risk management.

I think more expectations tends a trader to do emotional trading. He should expect that how much he is experienced and skilled . then he will not over estimated or disappointed from his trading results. Emotional control and risk management quality improves his trading .

How much can be expected in forex is based on your balance and your lot traded.

In the frame of reasonable trading I would suggest 10% of turnover monthly. Not so bad for me as I trade 10 K $ deposit with Hotforex and it covers all my utility and entertainment expenses + small investments on stocks..

If you look the needs the more so good, but if you could get 20% return then its pretty good, it could be more but on an average this return can satisfy our needs.

here's my latest trading performance with armada markets account.

i keep the drawdown as low as possible, for now my trading sytem done automatically, so far best perform with armada markets trading condition. i have try with several broker before, but seem giving much more trading cost and reduce the profit gain.

Expectation should be there and its not bad, just make sure that its realistic and is achievable according to your skill and experience, you have to satisfy yourself with what you earn.
